Located in a peaceful and lovely Kiwi town, this motel has spacious and well-maintained rooms, some of which offer a seventies feel updated with modern amenities like a coffee plunger and ground coffee provided daily. the property has plenty of parking and great quality internet/wifi. the owners are friendly and go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. Negatively, one previous guest noted that the room was used for smoking before, but the motel has effective cross-ventilation and a powerful air freshener.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was lovely and clean with a comfortable bed. The attention to detail was impressive, with a decent sized fridge freezer provided for guests who like to bring their own food. I also loved the outdoor seating area with a barbecue, perfect for a relaxing evening. The service from the owner, Sean, was exceptional. He went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my visit. I particularly enjoyed the daily supply of ground coffee and the woolen blanket provided, which added a cozy touch to my evenings on the couch.
No negative aspect to mention, everything was great.

Found a nice location for a romantic escape, near cafes and shops. the room was equipped with a fridge and the bed was clean and comfortable. the outdoor seating area and barbecue were perfect for intimate nights in the fresh air.
The room had a cigarette smell which was disguised by a heavily scented air freshener. the Wi-Fi signal was unreliable, making it difficult to keep in touch with loved ones.

Spent the new year with some friends and it was a great experience. Loved how clean and comfortable the units were and how well-maintained the property was. The outdoor seating area with a bbq was a great addition for us to cook our food and lounge outside. Appreciated how spacious the rooms were and how it had everything we needed like a decent-sized fridge and a good quality internet connection. The location was perfect for us as it was close to restaurants and shops while still being quiet.
One of our rooms might have been a smoking room in the past which was a bit of a turn off, despite the attempts to mask the smell. But thankfully, there were ways to air out the room.
